St Francis's Class
Welcome to an insight into St Francis's class, where we love to grow through inspiration and joy!
Our main class teacher is Mrs Longbottom.
Our teaching assistant are Mrs Meredith and Miss Craven.
Every half term, our learning is shared through our newsletters:
On Thursday 6th June, the children visited the toy museum in Ilkley, as an introduction to our topic: Toys past and present. The children had a super day exploring the exhibits and handling toys from the past
We became our own authors!
The children wrote their own 'Zog' inspired stories and then shared them with a younger audience. The audience and the authors had a great time!
Health and Well-Being Week May 2024
As part of health and well-being week, the children explored what it meant to eat a healthy diet. They designed and then made fruit kebabs. The best part was eating them!
DT
We read the story Bog Baby and then designed and made our own Bog Babies from Modroc.
'Love for Reading'
