St Paul's Class

Welcome to an insight into St Paul's class, where we cherish every day to learn and love!

Our main class teacher is: Ms McFarlane and Mrs Rice on a Monday

Our teaching assistant is: Miss Creegan-White (Tues - Fri am)

Every half term, our learning is shared through our newsletters:

Class charity

In our class, we’ve chosen to raise awareness and money for St Gemma's Hospice. This charity is important to us because it helps lots of people at a difficult time and some of the children in our class have friends and family who have been helped by St Gemma's.

Later in the year we will be looking at how we can raise both awareness and money for this worthy cause.

At the beginning of the year, we were chosen, as a class, to represent the virtue of trust.

Betsy said, “Trust is extremely important in friendship. If you are trusted or trust someone, then you will be a good relationship. Trust is an amazing virtue to have with someone or with many people! “

Amelie said, “Trust means that you are kind, listen and help each other.”

Joseph said, “We trust in God. He will help us.”

Beyond the classroom

Last half term (Autumn 2025), pupils enjoyed a range of enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom. We took part in a Celebration of the Word alongside other schools within our trust, strengthening our sense of community and shared values.

Our multifaith assemblies focused on Buddhism and Hinduism, giving pupils the opportunity to learn about and respect different beliefs and cultures.

We also visited the local church during the Christmas period to take part in Christingle and Mass, which were meaningful experiences for many of our pupils.

This half term, we are looking forward to weekly swimming sessions and welcoming external visitors who will enhance our history learning through engaging workshops and talks.
