Our teaching assistants are: Mrs Smith and Mrs Creegan-White
Class charity
In our class, we’ve chosen to raise awareness and money for The Children's Heart Surgery Fund. We chose to support the Children's Heart Surgery Fund, Leeds because it is a charity that is very close to our class. One child in our class, has benefited directly from this fund and we have seen the first hand positive impact it has had on both the child and their family. Witnessing the car, support and resources provided through the fund has helped us to understand how vital its work is and it has inspired us to support the charity in recognition of the difference it makes to children and families facing challenging circumstances.
Keep an eye out for our fund-raising activities!
Faith - class virtue
At the beginning of the year, we were given the virtue of faith, which means believing and trusting in God.
We learnt that faith helps us to stay hopeful and to do the right thing, even when things are hard.
We discussed that we would show faith by praying, trusting god and being kind and helpful to others. We can also show faith by making good choices and supporting one another each day.
Beyond the classroom
In our class, we’ve enjoyed a wide range of experiences this year to help us develop our love of learning.
Engaging with our learning
Across the curriculum, our minds are filled with wonderful knowledge especially with the help of our exciting and fun lessons.
In Autumn, we started swimming lessons. We will do swimming in the Autumn and Spring term. We love going swimming and we are enjoying learning new skills each week and watching our confidence grow.
