Class charity
In our class, we’ve chosen to raise awareness and money for Dementia UK. This charity is important to us because we know any help can provide life-changing support and advice to anyone affected by dementia.
Everyone is welcome
Through our learning, we understand the importance of resilience and perseverance!
We know having these virtues helps us to develop into confident, independent and well-rounded individuals with great problem-solving skills !
Beyond the classroom
In our class, we are enjoying a wide range of experiences this year to help us develop our love of learning.
So far the highlight of our year has been our trip to York to Yorkshire Museum. We visited the museum, learnt plenty of facts about the Vikings whilst completing games and took part in a fantastic workshop where we played a Viking board game and looked at artefacts!
Engaging with our learning
Across the curriculum, our minds are filled with wonderful knowledge especially with the help of our exciting and fun lessons.
In St Bernadette, we have enjoyed learning all about the world wide web and the internet during our computing lessons!
We LOVE Maths ! And are especially fond of TT rockstars! At the start of the year, we had a launch day during which we dressed as rockstars, practised on the ipads and created a rap about times tables... but most importantly, had so much FUN!
