The mission of the Friends of St. Joseph’s School, Pudsey is to enhance and enrich our children's school experience and that of the wider school community.
A PTA was formed for St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Pudsey in 1998. The PTA then changed its name to the Friends of St. Joseph’s, Pudsey and became a registered charity in 2002. The association has gone from strength to strength over the years and has raised funds for the benefit of the children who attend our school.
Funds have been raised by the many events organised over the years. From Curry Nights, Ball and Auction Nights, Family Discos, Summer BBQs, Hero Days and more recently the Bob-a Job and Christmas Card Events and these are just to mention a few.
The longest running event and probably the most loved event is The Gift Room.
The Gift Room has been running since the PTA was established and to our knowledge has run every year since then. It is a wonderful tradition where the children get to select and purchase gifts for their loved ones to pop under the tree ready to be opened Christmas morning.
And because of all of those events and the continued support of the children, parents, carers, staff and wider St. Joseph’s Community here is a selection of the many things that have been provided or contributed towards:
~ Climbing Walls in the Playground ~
~ Painted Play Surfaces ~
~ Prayer Garden ~
~ Books ~
~ School Sports Kit ~
~ Altar in the Main Hall ~
~ Sound System ~
~ Folding Stage ~
~ Playground Climbing Frame and Balance Equipment ~
Thank you everyone for your continued support.
