Welcome to the remote learning page!

On this page you will find all of the work for your child if they need to self isolate or if there are any additional pieces of information that are needed for remote learning due to the isolation of a bubble. The staff continue to be available on e-mail but please do be aware that if the whole bubble is not collapsed the staff will still be teaching the children in class all day and so may not be as quick to respond.

Literacy (w/c 9th Nov)

Monday - You must apply the 5 senses to Jim's first day in the workhouse. Tuesday - You must apply apostrophes to a diary entry in the schoolroom. Wednesday - You must edit your two diary entries and publish. Thursday - You must highlight my SPAG piece and create a WANTED poster for Jim using the skills taught this year.

Year 6 - Mock SATs (w/c 16th Nov)

In school, all children will be taking part in a practice SAT week. Attached are the documents required for the week. Monday: Reading Paper (time to complete = 1 hour), Tuesday: Spelling (time to complete = approx 20 minutes) and SPAG (time to complete = 45 minutes), Wednesday: Arithmetic (time to complete = 30 minutes) and Reasoning A (time to complete = 40 minutes), Thursday: Reasoning B (time to complete = 40 minutes). Please aim to give your child quiet space for these papers and to work independently for the directed time only. Do not worry if they do not complete the paper but please stick to the time frames guided. The Spelling Paper will need an adult to read the 'Spelling Transcript' for the child. Good luck and try your best!
